I recommend people reread the story and then comment because 99% of the comments are shallow as hell. People have reduced this story to ship wars which it is not. Give it another read but this time don’t be biased and try actually understanding the characters and the author’s intention in portraying those characters. Be open minded, be understanding, be sympathetic, be empathetic. Only then you will realise how wonderful this story actually is and how closely it relates to reality. How this is story is so much more than ship wars. What this story portrays is love and human flaws. It teaches that even if two people love each other endlessly because of their own cowardice and lack of communication they spend so much time hurting themselves and each other. How wrong handling of difficult situations and narrow mindness as parents can ruin and scar your own child. It teaches how it is to love and be loved. It teaches that even if that love is unsuccessful it’s still precious because it taught you something you wouldn’t have known otherwise. It is better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all. It teaches us no unsuccessful relationship is a waste of time because it only helps you grow and move forward. It teaches how one can learn from their own mistakes and be selfless for the one they love. It’s teaches humility and self reflection. Teaches how a little courage can save both their and their loved one’s heart. It shows what a once in a life time kind of love looks like.

I had to stop reading this commen section. Like after reading few pages of comments you quickly catch up that most readers focused mostly on smut and ship wars because their comments don't make sense or are just superficial.

My thoughts exactly! Although I didn't need to reread it to understand these emotions, it was quite obvious to me that they all needed to grow and that it could only be done once they've experienced it themselves.

Exactly. I sometimes wonder if we’re even reading the same story. While it is okay to have a preference but to reduce a story to simply ship wars because of that preference is such a huge injustice to this beautiful story and its author.

Same. I’ve only read it once and still the emotions the author was trying to portray were showing through so it makes me wonder what people are actually reading in this story if they don’t even understand what the story is about.

I feel this so much, and it hurt me knowing that there are people who don’t really understand the work and the passion beyond this story. This is so well done, there is an incredible evolution of the characters, a real evolution, not like I hate you next chapter we are married, but it taken a lot of time, for everyone. This is so well done that I don’t really know how to describe it. And it make me hungry that people can just see it as taku vs joowon, they are not just a ship, they a “real” people (get the real) with a powerful story
