I think both of them found a new dimension and changed lots not focusing on just one thing(she was obsessed by him,he was obsessed about the lack of love from his parents and envy of her)
As Tia said the Ruve now is a totally different person,he took a different path,exactly like Tia did,so I cannot see him as the same Ruve of the first path
