thats probably what the author intended. but because its entierly 100% possible to turn them into royal bloods, thats the ending i am going to think. there is a chance of death but karis and kyon are very strong mentally and i think they will be just fine.

i think hed wait a few years for sure. i can see karis going through with it without getting shions approval because he wants to be with him, while kyon would take more time, but not too long. i can see lucaon giving in but being by his side the whole time. i think thats the only way kyon would be able to survive it
