I know it’s absolutely disgusting how they let it slide because “character development” it’s the same as a real life Rapist saying sorry to his victim, it changes nothing. What’s even more gross is “ur wish is my command” the whole plot is literally unconsensual sex, like the villains r*pe him instead of fighting him, this side of mlm webtoon is absolutely disappointing and horrifying, the amount of people who try to justify these manhwas, manhuas, mangas, etc. I hate drunk sex being used as a way to escalate the story, it’s disgusting and they aren’t even conscious of their actions, there’s too many series that have these plots normalizing literal rape.

And for those people who try to justify drunk sex are absolutely disgusting, feels like fetishizing.

2. but i feel like when they sober up then they are aloud to choose whether to let it slide or not since theyre the one that was violated (personally i agree that cain is the way to go since all he did was lie a bit, but then again its joowins choice to stay in that toxic relationship)

its weird as a whole for a rapist to become a love interest, but that is commonly what happens in these manhwuas. but yes it is a problem but also joowin is quite guillable and overall a pretty stupid character. i never really saw the whole rapist love interest thing as such a big problem up until the most recent painter of the night chapter ( its very bad I do not recommend duiwbhejd)

We all show support to anime yet never actually pay for crunchyroll, although that’s not my point here I know I don’t pay for any of these, but when the story is so genuine and doesn’t involve any fetishizing I definitely pay for chapters on lezhin. We may not be supporting it financially but the more readers enjoying drunk sex and toxic relationships like this will make it end up on people’s recommendations leading to people paying it on lezhin etc.

Authors have to take part-time jobs because they can’t support themselves with the money they gain from their comics and are upset by the fact that their works do well on illegal sites but not on the official platform. Okay, you don’t agree with the content which is fine, you don’t have to consume it, but your statement sounds like we should boycott every piece of media that depicts toxic characters/relationships just because they’re bad? You can enjoy the story without condoning the characters’ behavior in the real world. That’s the mature approach to works like this and ytc is targeted at a 19+ audience that should realize that as of now, the relationships between the mains aren’t meant to be glorified and desired. I’m sorry, but this is all fictional while the authors (real ppl) struggle to get by bc they lose millions of dollars bc of these sites. I’ll always encourage someone to support the authors if they enjoy the story. You can’t police what people do with their money just because you apply your real life moral compass to fiction. This story already stirred up discussions, people can learn why the characters’ actions are bad just by reading the comments.

I don't blame you or anyone else who reads manhwas on here tbh, I used to use mangago 24/7 for ALL types of comics, but when I got a job and started getting $$$, I decided to support the manhwas I really love. I still read other manhwas on here illegally bcs I can't use ALL my money I believe that you're still in a way supporting the author if you share the manhwa with others, etc., but I hope you don't feel bad
