I don't think we need to mind the age gap that much since they're two mature adults (I assume the younger one to now be in his late 20s or in his 30s), especially since the demon has lived thousand of years already
(+) however i do admit idk how to feel about the older one basically raising the younger one (although i do appreciate that he had no romantic feelings whatsoever until the guy was a grown adult and started coming onto him)

I do agree though on the parent-child relationship by well it does seem very consensual and wouldn't have happened unless the child was a full fledged adult so...
The age gap is kind of a lot for me. I'm kind of hoping the author will give us a reincarnation moment or some kind of ending where they're both going to end up being around the same age. I don't know I just haven't felt like this before (⊙…⊙ ) (It's 40 plus years, I'm cool with like 20 or something. But this might be a little too much for me personally ╥﹏╥)
