From "The Remarried Empress" the Emperor there was a stupid MoFu, A-hole with a superiority complex from her awesome Empress. Trashta on the otherhand was a white lotus "Acts stupid but a sly fox". It is very different from this couple. Goblin suffered from the cruelty of the imperial law and power struggle while Song Young was deprived, neglected and abused by her own fam. She doesn't have a basic educ and common sense. She's a whole example of a Naive Girl.
Emperor and Trashta is an incurable Toxic Relationship.
But Goblin is diff., his love for his wife didn't hurt an innocent person. His possesiveness doesn't bother the FL b'cos both of them need to fulfill the affection that was deprived from them. It just an indication that they complete each other. The toxicity that I can see in this story so far is the Devil Crown Prince and the Empress plus the Servants.
I'm not angry or anything, I'm sharing what I observed while reading both stories especially the novel of The Remarried Empress. Peace

No I was thinking the same thing because she is kinda similar to rashsta. Though I like Young because she isn’t a home wrecker and just simply unknowledgeable. Rashsta knew she was doing something wrong.
I know I might wake something into people's mind there while reading this but... this story is making me think of The Remarried Princesse with Trashta's relationship with the emperor. I'm really sorry to those never thought about this. But since the FL makes me think of Trashta, it's getting difficult to appreciate their love story. I feel like it's not a good love but more of a toxic one which I don't think author tried to draw it like that. So I'm sorry. I cannot help it.
Obviously the FL isn't the same at all, but the whole situation and how she act with him eventhough she didn't know a lot about him is making me think of this trashy couple. I'M SORRY !
