Basically Andy liked to torture animals when he was a kid, and one of Bran's friend tied him up on tracks in front of a train after Andy tortured and killed his dog. But Bran saved him anyway, and got epilepsia as well as serious injuries. His family took all the compensation money and Andy took care of a very much alcoholic Bran for 10 years, helping him out and sleeping with him.
But Andy is still a psycho, kills people, tortures them and eats them. It gets extremely graphic. He ends up keeping Bran in his basement. It's yuck. I have no idea why I read this.
