the plot just honestly took a turn for the worse after season 1 and here i am still hopelessly waiting that things will get better soon and for it to go back to the way it used to, but it still hasn’t. there’s still no resolution after so many chapters.

I mean Claude is currently bedridden and Athy is training her magic with Lucas so with this it gave author-nim a chance to go more into detail about the bad guys while going back and fort to Athy for an update of what's the condition of Claude and along with Athy and Lucas trying to figure it out, something like so when the bad guys do their thing like what anastacius did just now we won't be surprised with them suddenly popping up out of nowhere ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Totally agree with you. Also every character needs a story and a character to make the story deeper. Jeanette's personality has already been given to us but we still don't know much about Claude's brother, for example, why is he alive? Why does he hate Claude so much? Without her characters, wouldn't the story be boring?
