Ok so what I think Tamali meant by those words i that just like his Mother, even though he doesn't need those sexual feelings, he still has them. That's why Shii shuddered, after putting himself on top of Tamaki and asking if that's okay, Tamaki says "you know Im my Mother's child" because he might not want to feel sexually aroused but he still does. I feel like people who shit on their relationship are people who don’t understand it. Tamaki isn’t opposed to sexual things nor is he opposed to romance. In the past his romances would end bc of the lack of sexual activities he would perform with his girlfriends but that wasn’t bc he wasn’t interested. When Shii also hints sexual remarks at him he isn’t opposed to it but he feels guilty and scared about it bc of his mother. His mom’s past relationships and the sexual aspect of her relationships that he was opposed to at a very early age got him to feel guilty bc he saw how sex ruined her. He feels scared bc his mom now looks at him in the same sexual way she used to look at her past lovers. So now he believes that he doesn’t need sex when he’s in love (granted he could’ve been ace but it’s now revealed that he does have sexual desires but he feels bad about it). Shii on the other hand was also exposed to sex at a fairly young age and wasn’t taught about sex and relationships. He truly does like Tamaki and feels sexual attraction towards him but due to lack of understanding of those two dynamics he comes off as pushy and just thinks with his dick. After having a sex partner during middle school and getting advice he realizes and better understands sex and relationships but that doesn’t stop his want for Tamaki in both romantic and sexual way. Now he also understands Tamaki’s fears and true feelings about sex and wants to help him. He was even willing to stop his pursuit to make sure he felt comfortable and safe and he also realized the way he acted previously was the same way Tamaki’s mom acted and wanted to stop for that reason. After Tamaki said what he said in this recent ch Shii wants to help him get over his guilt and is willing to use himself as a scapegoat to make Tamaki feel better about himself. Now in previous chs what Shii did wasn’t very consensual but in this recent ch what Shii did was allowed by Tamaki and they both came to an understanding.
Now my question and it honestly might not even be a big deal but when Tamaki said in the recent ch “you know I’m my mother’s child” what does that mean? And why did Shii shudder at that remark? I’m guessing it has to do with the fact that his mom is sexually attracted to him but I didn’t understand what that remark meant in that situation
