So true withdrawal syndrome really is the enemy here. That's when the struggle starts and that's why I applaud Regan from trying his best to hold it in and I hope he succeed on this.
I think this is the main struggle for the couple. Love story is already so hard without drug addiction in the scenario.

Regan must have felt like in hell.
I read about drug addiction withdrawal and the more I read it, the more I can imagine that shitty feeling they have.
Which is the reason that makes them want more drugs since thats the only antidote for them.
And so the vicious cycle repeats over and over.
Drug addicts undergoing cleansing seems to experience torture almost like labor pains with migraine and diarrhea.
So avoid addictive drugs.
