Maybe it's bc i was being a wet blanket lol. But really tho, i'm ok with toxic situation in a story IF it's clearly portrayed as toxic. But here the author wanted it to be a romantic thing, which can be harmful if people become desensitized to it
Everything was going well,,, What Jinnai did was isolating Subaru which is one of the manipulator's trait. Not romantic at all
