I don't think it's about the tempo and it's doesn't matter if it's legit in real life or not. Like it's more about good story writing.
I wanna enjoy some sweet romance Story where it heart is being crushed and healed at the same time. (loololololol)
Because of the pacing (just my opinion and how feel about it) You can't really get deeper into the characters and their relationship. Tbh I was super disappointed from the confession scene ( ≧Д≦) it was kinda blunt and not emotional at all ya know?

I mean sometimes slow-burn shoujo Mangas are really frustrating. Because it's TOO slow.
I totally understand what you're trying to say. I actually like this pace tho, and I think its good, rather its the writing or the characters or the relationship but I guess thats just my opinion LOL, but I mean if you really are disappointed you can just go read a medium pace shoujo story, if you like I could rec you some?
