For people that want them to be together, hmmm I respect the opinion but seriously I can't erase what he's done to the real Melissa. She loved and did her best for him but he used those feelings, played with them and still hurt her terribly. No good change can erase the past. He can find someone else but just not the one person he took for granted because that's just unfair and cruel.
Just my perspective though.
