
There's nothing wrong with what you said. It's just the usage of the word "slut" has a lot of negative connotations with it so people are going to start a conversation about it. I think the take away from this thread really is to acknowledge the history of the word "slut" and how it may affect and create a negative image to people. Understand the weight of the word and grow on this topic. People are only now reclaiming the word slut as an empowering word but that still doesn't erase the true negative impact the word has had throughout our history towards women, feminine gay men and gender conforming people. A lot of alternative words can be player, mananizer, playboy, promiscuous, debauchee or even just saying "casually sleeping around." You don't need to use these but it can be better than negatively referring to someone as a slut.
