Yeah there was like two or three chapters mixed in with the extras where Li huan apparently had cancer and then forgot yangs birthday. It was super sad and confusing and had little to no resolution

He didn't had cancer? He was just sick

Why hide it then?? most people can just say "ill feeling a little sick" but hiding hospital visits? thats sus. and have symptoms after? and the doctor talking about the "side effects?" most people dont just get admitted and get an IV bag for any old sickness. plus in the very beginning of the story they mentioned cancer and while that could be alluding to li huans mother's illness, it seemed to fit in with that scene.

You're reading too much into it XD coz some people actually keep some things to themselves as to not worry others (trivial or not) which is what I think Li Huan did.

Well I gotta say I completely disagree, doesnt really explain what the doctor said to him or any of the other stuff I mentioned but regardless, even if it was some random flu, why didnt the author resolve it?? And forgetting the birthday? no resolution there either. it feels weird and choppy like the beginning of a new arc with no end.
