Since we have romance tag on this story then I guess we will have a ML for our MC. I think that Joel is the ML. For now he is the most possible candidate for being ML since we can tell he has a thing for our MC and he clearly did not give up even though she left.
Unless the romance tag reffers to MC parents' love. I would be a bit dissapointed tough. This story has potential to have romance for our MC. It would be good to show that even though MC is genderless she can still find true love like her father altought they can't copulate. It would be very refreshing to see love that doesn't need sex to be eternal.
