She is scared to love him because love is a weakness for a warrior (she is afraid of being weak, look how she thinks in chapter 59 the words he said, in chapter 62 she remembers them again. But she uses a mechanism of defense: solving problems).
I really, REALLY need Charlotte/Aria to understand, accept (& hopefully return) Jefferey's feelings at some point --
(The great mage seems romantically dense as hell, so if that time does come -- it's gonna be a long wait)
I get that a lot of people ship her w/ some of her apprentices & stuff --
But,, I kind of find that weird - since she's known some of them since they were kids - it'd be a bit iffy for her to develop romantic feelings for them -- just saying, (but I don't mean to step on someone's ships -- i respect them,, just don't get them much, ya know?)
(Also, -- just LOOK at Jefferey -- he's beautiful)
