I've looked at them, and I do admire the artist who goes by the name, pink kitten, if I remember correctly, but I'm only into the main story. so much for your accusation of me wanting it to be BL. I never said it was an easy thing that anyone can do, but you can decide to train yourself to have your artsyle like another one. And if you already had a similar art style as the one you wanted to copy then it's even easier to do. And yes you can trace, you can also use different editing software to not even have to trace the art but to directly copy and paste it. It's really not that mind blowing of a thing. You're the one who absolutely wants a rumour to be true for no reason other than what I can imagine being "it's okay if I ship Ciel and Sebastian if I convince myself that the author wanted to do the same uwu". Believe in that rumor all you want, but until it is 100% confirmed by genuine proof (meaning: the author saying that they wanted it/planned for it to be a bl), don't go around "correcting" people who say that the rumor is, well, just a rumor. you're wrong about aping someone else's art. You didn't answer: are you an artist? also, tracing and pasting no matter how diligently, will never allow anyone to create an entire dj that perfectly imitates an author's style. If you're that good an artist, you'll want to do your own ideas, not someone elses. Again, I don't favor a Sebastian/Ciel pairing, and I wouldn't have liked it in any part of this series. My concern is your lack of respect for artists and their free expression.

Well, this has been.....entertaining. And enlightening.
There are tons of swirling rumors about the origins of this manga. But both the author (who is Yana Toboso, if that needs clarifying) and her editor have publicly stated that it was never meant to be a BL. And hey, it's not a BL! That's what's most important.
People can ship whatever the hell they want in their headcanons, even if it's pedophilia or child porn. No one can stop that. But when it comes to threatening the author over making ships canon (looking at the BNHA fandom there) or spreading misinformation that either baits or scares off potential readers, then its more of an issue. And in this case, it is indeed misinformation. I know a lot of potential readers who were scared away from Black Butler because they saw it as soft BL, and plenty more who only read it because they ship the two main characters. And while you can read a series for whatever reason your heart desires, it does suck that a lot of serious readers looking for good stories and characters pass up on this manga because of the yaoi stigma.
Art tracing is absolutely a thing. As an artist speaking, I've done it (as a way to practice proportions, I must clarify.) Professionals can do it too, and it classifies as theft. The author of No Game No Life is under fire for it. Fiercely claiming the author supports the ship because there are doujins that look similar to her art style is a very weak argument with no solid proof. Compare that to the author, Yana herself, saying it was never meant to be a BL. Who exactly do you believe: the credited author directly responsible for the idea and creation of the beloved manga in question, or a random internet persona?
It's funny. Quickie claims to know about the origins of the manga, yet doesn't want to put in the legwork to actually research the topic since it means they'll be proven wrong. They "don't give a rat's ass about looking at a sebastian/ciel hookup" (that's a direct quote), yet they're trying oh so hard to prove they're right with no solid evidence. And they have to type out two separate responses to every one comment because they either don't know how to reconstruct their opinion eloquently enough to fit into one reply, or because they just like seeing the replies flooded with their icon.
