First) it wasn’t just one guard, it was an entire castle of people—they just didn’t think he’d be able to get a spy in but he created the new brainwashing thing which allowed him to bypass their safeguards with Neti
Second) she’s like 5 (has the brain development of a 5 year old at least) and all her old memories were of a family that hated her and abuse, not to mention that her dads been distant in the past few chapters. Ur acting like she’s an adult with the mental stability of a saint
The development makes sense considering her character and what we know about the world

For about ten chapters now, I haven’t really been happy about updates and their behavior is just getting annoying.
I mean who the hell leaves their weak spot (aka daughter) with only one guard? And why is she getting the wrong ideas about him trying to kill her as a baby? He a loving father now and he regrets it, that’s all that counts.
I wasn’t a wanted child but I’m alive now and my parents love me, so why should I be upset over the past now? I mean as an actual child it’s something to get upset over but she isn’t??
