I think the same way... Also, Asahi isn’t very used to communicating (which, ahem, what Masato always worry about) and Masato would always try to understand the guy. I mean, we can all understand Asahi’s self-esteem went down the drain because of his ex wife, and yes, he does love Asahi, but I somehow really can’t feel their feelings being equal. Please don’t execute me but in my eyes, their relationship is like this:
Masato: I need you because I love you.
Asahi: I love you because I need you.
Yeaah . I love you because i need you is just same as partner for convenience. Hoping Asahi will get over of his insecurities because Masato don't mind about it. Masato love Asahi despite of his short comings. Instead of searching for qualities Asahi doesn't have he love Asahi more than anything else. Asahi always think about his self being defective. It's all in the past and his partner now is different. I don't like that their relationship being put as just for convenience since they Masato don't mind having a kid compare to Asahi's ex wife.
I feel the same. You put it so well into words. Itd just sad cuz Masato also was hurt in the past and Asahi dont think about it at all.
I feel like in their relationship Asahi benefits the most. We all can see that Asahi really love Masato it's just that Masato loves Asahi much more. Masato is always like that when he love someone just like his ex who betrayed him. He was taken advantage because he is too good for someone. He always gave his love 100%. I hope Asahi will do something to make Masato real happy and be free of worries.
