I think it’s that every time Dojin came back to the real world in his other lives, he’d live life and forget Yellow Dragon, but this lifetime he came back and stayed loyal to Yellow Dragon only, so when he died they were able to be together in the other world forever. I might be wrong so sorry if I am !!!

Dojin meets the God of all creation and asks them to send him to where Yellow Dragon is. They meet and after Yellow Dragon rails Dojin , they talk and then Dragon sends his husband back to his world. Dojin wakes up with the ring on his finger and he spends his life normally until his last breath. That's where he meets Yellow Dragon again and they go to Yooguk. Before they leave , Dojin's niece dreams of her as a child ( since she is a grown women with kids ) while she is seeing her uncle and his man smiling at each other and tells him to be happy.
ah so they went to Yooguk but Dojin is not old there because he is old there in the hospital so Im kind of confused if Dojin returned to Yooguk in he’s in mid 20’s or old.
He is old at the end when they return to Yooguk. But idk if he was portrayed young since they met when Dojin was in his 20's or since it made more sense. But he was old in the end , just his body looked like when they met.
