The biggest pet peeve I have with this story is that the whole ass 'assassination' plot, with all the build up, turned out to be underwhelming and anti climatic because really had very little to do with the main couple. It is so clear that it was only to set up the lame fanservice character love interest even so the relationship is based on 5 minutes of interaction. Imagine following a story for almost 60 chapters of hard earned development that advances the main couple at snail pace and then see the very short chapters split to make space for a fast tracked, half cooked assed 'relationship' that had no interaction, no base, no development and probably will be fast tracked to passion in 3 short moans.
Even worse if besides that, the 'assassination' plot only development for the main couple is a repetition of things that makes the story seem even more morose. All the while, loose ends with other much more interesting side characters seem all but forgotten. Alas, I doubt we will move on that, not before we get the totally waste of time on Tarzan and Jihwa fast food relationship.
Are there any reader who thinks that the girl at the end is not, like most are saying, any of the women who raised Nakyum?
The women at the brothel would have been much older. Also, Nakyum life as painter was not known until he became commissioned by Seungho. He used to paint as anonymous before, remember? His noonas would not have referred to him as painter.
Isn't too much coincidence that she is wearing the very same green outfit and in the same way that the woman who was with the hobo assassin?
Maybe she came back and heard Jihwa and Tarzan talking about 'the painter'.
I just find a bit of a plot hole to have a young girl as someone who have raised Nakyum if the theory is that she is one of the women from the brothel where he grew up.
On the other hand, since the lame kidnapping plot thing, the story is full of plot holes -- like Nakyum be found in the snow and Tarzan magically floats without footsteps, a supposedly assassin just give back the money because he feels pity of the most annoying and clingy bitch he ever met, Nakyum gets chocked to unconscious but there are no bruises on his neck and Seungho is suddenly so obtuse to clues that Nakyum didn't leave on his own. So I guess creating a 'noona' that looks even younger than Nakyum and suddenly is in the same town is not so out of expectation.
