LOL the shopping boxes
A guest finds a seat in their living room, enamored by the delicate and simple arrangement of comfort and warmth. When the fireplace crackles, they notice a three-tiered tower of boxes in the corner.
“Sir, what are those boxes?”
Addie: “boxes...?” *MAJOR GASP*
Mary: “Oh...those boxes. You see, you mustn’t look at that shameless corner otherwise you’ll catch his per–”
*Addie covers her mouth* “Mary!! It! Is! Nothing BUT! An inconspicuous pile of old memories...” *nervous laugh*
The guest glances between the two, adoring the familiarity/intimacy between Mary and Addie, paying no more mind to the boxes.
I just want Addie and Mary living comfortably, peacefully, and happily in a little fancy cottage upon a flower field and a fence of trees that shed leaves. They’d have no servants and together they’d rake leaves together into a pile only to ruin it and repeat. The abundance of tea they’d have stashed in the cupboards and the cozy carpets heating up by the fireplace.
