The meds are actually the thing that made her unable to hide the jewel thingy on her wrist. Hades discovered something suspicious with her father and the temple and she stops taking them. She eventually hides the jewel but the pain was so bad at one point Hades did the pain transfer magic to himself so he could bare the pain of our MC
