Complaints are also a type of discussing things. Having a disclaimer at the beginning should be a normal requirement for every story. Stories like this encourage readers to think about the differences between fantasy and reality, right and wrong. In my opinion even if you were warned you should still 'complain' as you said, though I'd rather call it sharing one's opinion. And if it's too much for a reader they'll stop reading eventually anyway. (So no need to be annoyed by them.) Otherwise and even then as I wrote above sharing your thoughts no matter which way they go and discussing them with others is a necessity for human beings to evolve empathically and the likes.
Also a true author would welcome readers to discuss their work in any way without being swayed by it but still keeping at the way they planned the story and what they want to convey with it. So no need worrying about them because of something like this.
