From what I can tell, this is going where Rose was probably sexually assaulted by her father and her mother probably knew about it but chose not to care? Rose did have a sad and cruel past, but it still doesn't give her an excuse to do what she did to the ML and FL. And besides, manipulating the ML ain't it sis.
