Oh.....so thats what happened. The author just straight up made it seem like she was dead so i was so confused when i saw her in this chapter and she was perfectly healthy and VERY MUCH ALIVE(￣∇￣")

Just reread chapter 11 and Sooho said his mum moved to a forgein country for work. She isn't dead. I duno why I thought she was?!
