@demon13o Of course he did die, but as a weak human, not as this draconian human who is close to immortality and can ressurrect other humans.
Ehhh, why would I point out all the other times when he seemed to be perfectly in posession of enough power to defeat the opponent in other times he encountered a challenge?
My main point is this, in case all of you three don't know how to read a context properly:
Ever since he acquired a lot of power, he always seemed to be too strong for the opponent, and this was the nearest instance wherein he bled and almost lost.
That was the closest he was from losing and dying!
