Krister had a twin called Cisero. They were separated during childhood, and Krister was given to other family. Their dad murdered their mom, and Cisero killed their dad and kinda went crazy. Politics were involved and the murder was blamed to a random gang.
Cisero thought the only person that would understand him would be his twin brother, so he looked for him until adulthood. When Cisero found Krister, he realized Krister was just a normal dude that would never understand a murderer, so out of frustration he started to kill men that resembled their father, who he blamed for having become a murderer in the first place.
Krister met Jonathan and had a crush on him. Cisero noticed that and wanted to kill Jonathan out of jelousy. Krister found Cisero's book where he kept pictures of the murders, and Krister threatened him with killing Jonathan if he didn't murder the 33rd victim and became a murderer like him. Krister took too long to kill the 33rd victim, and so Cisero tried to kill Jonathan at the valley, but Krister could stop him at the right time. Jonathan's brother Baron was there and found Cisero's book, so he knew the killer was after Jonathan and he started to investigate the cases with the assistance of another reporter called Robben.
However, Cisero still was threatening to kill Jonathan, so Krister killed the 33rd victim and got arrested. Cisero told him that if he pretended to be the real serial killer, he wouldn't kill Jonathan.
During Krister's imprisonment, Baron was too close to figure out the truth, so Cisero made a come-back and killed once again, thus making himself the "copy cat". At the same time, Cisero would become the boyfriend of Jonathan's best friend, Jerome.
In order to protect Jonathan from Cisero, Krister escaped from prison and kidnapped Jonathan under the excuse of wanting to catch the copy cat so Krister could kill Jonathan by himself.
Baron was at the tail of Cisero, and carelessly left evidence of his trail in one of the murder's scene, so now the police would have Baron as a suspect. Baron went into hiding and discovered Cisero's identity. Cisero caught Baron and ultimately killed him, further messing things up to the police as now Cisero's identity was being revealed.
Krister said "fuck it" and finally killed Cisero, who was very happy his brother had finally become a murderer the way he had always wanted. Jonathan and Robben kept investigating the case and convinced Krister to tell the truth.
Krister finished his sentence and became an actor as he always wanted to, and seems to have met up with Jonathan again.

Oh, and I guess Robert got cucked too much and gave up his advances on Jonathan.
