Yeah, logically I know that, but it still feels like cheating to me. If they had remembered, then they would always be thinking "you didn't discover that technique with me, you learned that from someone else"
Someone else? Here is not "someone else", here are they, rin and sou, alone in all the story. And the two of they learned the things they know from the other one, the 'future version'. The same person that they are dating, but with the fantasy of time travels and that stuff. Rin teach sou and viceversa. Its a closed circle.
I can't see the cheating for much the characters say yes, or you feel it like that.

I think it's because it's there "future" selves that it feels like it's actually more/less like a stranger, because it's the them(rin/sou) that they don't know that time, because of course through the years something is different about the future rin and sou is what I believe Blackie meant to say.
yeah, because people change over the years, and in this case they were changing together, but then that just means you need to stick with the person in your time because that is who you are in love with. Otherwise you're still cheating.
Mmm... Well, that can feel like the "future rin/sou" could be strangers at first, but they still are rin and sou. The same guys. With more years but still in love with each other. And more experienced on sex -and other life matters- xD.
The identities remain. The love -sentimental and physical- remain. Their love for swimming also remains xD

to tell you the truth I can't really say it's technically cheating either, but I think I'm the kind of person who would still be pretty jealous if my future self was trying to hit on my guy lol! I'd be like Σ(っ°Д °;)っ

I don't get why those two get angry and jealous between they... I mean they don't cheat the another, because sou did it with rin, and rin with sou. Both did it with his couple!!
