The white ones are the pel. And an aristrocrat at that (noble, has power). These defines the uke.

Pels treat spinels (seme + darkskinned people) as products/slave. Pel's are the reason why spinels lost their home and was forced to work as slaves. So basically, spinels (like noah) hates pels.

Our uke on the otherhand, despite being a pel, despises the idea of treating spinels as object. He's the one guy who does not associate himself to norms.
