About everyone’s hair back in Egypt is fake. There was no proper way of taking care of it back then so they usually cut it off and wore wigs.

I was surprised too when I learned it as well lol!! Sometimes I even forget they wore wigs too because they look so real haha!
Yeah when I think about it it’s kinda weird, they couldn’t take care of their hair but how did they take care of the wigs lol

They used lots of oils. Like you said it’s weird. There were water sources of course but still sometimes they did not have the cleanest water to wash their hair with. Also some of them probably had curly or kinky hair which can be hard to maintain so having straight hair is usually better. Usually the upper class would have more wigs but still wigs were popular. Also Happy New Years as well!!
