It's understandable why you would think that way towards Henry, but you gotta remember he didn't know things would change this quick for him because of his phone. Imagine if you were to just say something you kept for so long only to find out all of a sudden things change to what you apparently hopefully wished for, that could be quite overwhelming. It could be worse if he decided to instead use the advantage of having Chance fall in love with him, but he wants to go back to when he actually saw him happy with Lucy instead of false love through a wish.
But what is done is now done. They hid her death so he wouldn't blame himself but that went out the window. He now knows and is even more determined to change it back. He doesn't even know if he can make everything go back to normal, what if he makes another wish and not only does everyone remember again but it's worse?! Does he really want Lucy to remember her own suicide and have her repeat that again? I get why he feels like he needs to write his wrongs since he has regrets but all he's doing is hurting everyone around him. It's pretty selfish at this point. Instead of trying to redo everything once again, or wishing for happiness that turns out to be fake he should focus on those around him now and try to get through this together. Lucius lost his sister because of this wish, I can't imagine how he must feel knowing the cause of her death is the guy he likes, but is also constantly trying to remind him that she would've been happy in the previous timeline. His emotions have got to be running on the line between love and hate and that would be a far more interesting path to follow plot wise than the one they're currently on.

Bro both Chance and Lucius got so screwed over cus of the wishes. Chance lost his wife and future, Lucius lost his sister. And imagine 9yrs passed, some wounds are healing only for henry to come back and reopen the past and force it in their faces. Like dang, that's rough, Idk if I could like henry after knowing everything if I was a friend or potential lover like he really is coming off as being driven crazy by it all, I mean understandable, but still like henry isn't the only one and now chance and Lucius have to deal with memories, feelings, while trying to handle Henry and not letting the despair take over them. I understand why lucy took her life, the two realities for her were probably so conflicting that life itself probably felt like a lie. And if lucius is the one who made the wish in the hotel and it deals with Henry, then just like how Henry says Chance's feelings are fake then so must Henry's. And can henry please stop acting like he knows everything about chance, anytime chance says or does anything he completely disregards him and acts as if he's just not in control of himself/like an illusion of the current reality made by the wish. People do things they don't mean, and say things they don't mean, people are more than just their words and how they project themselves, they're multiple layers that make up a whole, So chance is more than what just henry percieves. This feels like another manga about an mc that can't let go of the past and when the manga should be teaching them to let go instead they encourage their behaviour and say hold onto it as long as you can and never forget the past. Try to change it, think of everything you shouldve done different, remember the regrets and keep fighting to change those experiences. When really the mc needs to be in the present and change themselves to become better so past mistakes aren't repeated and they can live toward a future with those dear around them. Idk I ranted. Henry just makes me mad and I get why he'd want to change it, but the past is the past and what's done is done, don't ignore those around you now and try to make things better. If not he's just dragging everyone down.
