Suprisingly sadistic semes or tsundere ukes are not really my thing. I don't know why, but I always feel it's a bit unfair for the second party.
I also prefer consensual sex (￣∇￣") As you can guess there're not too many yaois like that. On the other hand I can't find any angsty yaoi, where the uke is seriously mistreated.

I guess I just like the extremes.

YES! Of course! Audrey Hepburn is still my idol to this day! Like I have her 'Impossible' quote above my vanity mirror.... lol She's to me what Marylin Monroe is to most other girls.... And yes, I hated the second one. It was a huge letdown. lol That's hilarious, though. I think you're first person I've ever heard that from. I love it! Yeah there's a few of mine that start with blackmail but for the most part my favorites are all consentual...there's a couple that aren't but most of my favorites are warm and fuzzy.
I've found that a lot of sadistic semes and tsundere ukes are played for laughs which is probably why I like them. Natsume Isaku has a lot of tsundere ukes and they are just such funny and sweet stories.

I think the same thing! I've read all this about Harada scarring people after they read her stuff, but it didn't really faze me.... And I love Ogawa Chise, and she can be pretty dark... But still... It's not that bad. There is this one little oneshot where there was knife play that kinda made me cringe, but I still cruised right through it....

I mean the character in general but I will admit I love Dustin Hoffman *Hook n Hook* and then the actor that plays Luscious Malfoy in Harry Potter was in a moderately horrible live action peter pan a few years ago and he was Hook. And I thought he was sexy as hell as Hook. Yeah I love Audrey Hepburn. She was in quite a few of my old favorite movies. The actress from that period I adore was Lauren Baccall...she had that sexy femme fatale thing going on. She was in a lot of movies alongside Humphrey Bogart, and was married to him. I love old movies I have old parents so I've seen them all...I've seen every John Wayne movie and can probably quite all of Singing In the Rain. I am 26 though...not sure how old you are. Quite a bit older than a lot of people on here but there's quite a few who are my age or older.

See Caste Haven makes me feel like my mind has been violated...same with some of Harada's stuff...I hate mind break stories. Eeeeek. Sakura Gari made me want to gouge a hole in my brain. I like light and fluffy happy endings...and comedy as mentioned. Although I prefer dark comedy...like not gonna lie Kawaii Akuma makes me laugh my ass off and it offends a lot of people...

Omg! I grew up with old Hollywood, because I too have old my parents, and my grandparents owned a video store when I was growing up, so yeah.... My mom is a huge old Hollywood buff. I loved Shirley Temple, John Wayne and Doris Day as a kid. I'm 25 and I know how you feel. lol You and Helix are my two favorite people on here. ^.^

Oh, I absolutely love tsundere ukes from Natsume Isaku. And I'm sure there're more. The thing is when I think 'tsundere' I see the senpai from "Koisuru Boukun". Don't get me wrong- I like this manga (it's my first yaoi after all), but he's just too much.

I get it's supposed to be a comedy, but I don't know, sometimes I can't take it. Like "Kawaii Akuma"- I just felt sorry for the uke. I'm quite used to it now, but it was a huge shock then ^^

I'm the same way. I laugh my ass off at things that make others cringe. But I like the psychological mind-break stuff, too... Guess I'm just so desensitized. lol Kawaii Akuma cracked me up! It was just so all over the place. I died! And then the seme suddenly turned into this crazy hot sex god and I was just like, "Ohohoho!" lol I haven't read Sugar Code, but I like oddballs, so I added it to my list. ^.^

Koisuru Boukun was my first, too! I saw the OVA and fell in love with them... So I read the manga. Senpai does take tsundere to a whole new level, but he still has a place in my heart. ^.^

I like both Harada and Ogawa Chise. Maybe bc I just know what to expect from them and I choose their manga on purpose.

Totally agree! I like my fluff here and there as long as it's unique in some way and not overly girly, but sometimes (most times) I just want my dark plots with evil seme/uke.... I think the first yaoi that ever really shocked me slightly was Ibitsu Na Kakera... And then maybe Kusatta Rasen, but I mostly just laughed my ass off throughout that one...

Yeah... I think Kono Ore Ga Omae Nanka Suki Na Wakenai was the first one I ever read by her... And then I kept reading her work and was like, "Wtf is happening? And why do I like it?" lol But I love dark humor, and she's a master in that respect...

I like manipulative semes...they make me laugh. That whole backed into a corner thing that happens makes me giggle like a little kid. Especially when the uke is kinda a prick. Like honestly in Kawaii Akuma the uke's attitude helps it along for me. If he was a meek little puppy it would be sad but I actually feel like he holds his own. Plus he seems like he'd be super fun to mess with. Just saying I bet when he was a kid that whole "I'm not touching you" game would have been super fun...and the "stop copying me" game...probably why I like half-assed sadists because I am one...

Oh my gosh that was my favorite I laughed so hard...another oddball seme I quite like. But narcissists are fun to make fun of. Cause otherwise the other option is to kill them and that is frowned upon. Although in real life you kinda have to work to laugh at them...funnier on paper, just saying :P
