Well, I love your accent! Especially with women. It's hot! lol ;-) I've always had an affinity for language, though... I love diversity. I think that's one of the things that makes us beautiful as a species, is our diversity. I just wish we could appreciate ourselves and each other more. :-)

My dad I don't think has any prejudices that I've noticed or if he does he stays quiet. But my mom ocasionally leaves me angry or embarassed but its my sister. She basically hates everyone who's not a middle class white man...cause pretty sure she hates women. Where I live is pretty free of racism but homosexuality is a bit taboo. I mean there's some everywhere but we tend to be pretty free of it. We have a lot of hippies...or possibly its just all my friends are hippies. My sister is way older so there's a generational gap there too...

I like the 'no accent' accent that's going around. I hear it more and more where I'm from... Mostly because we have a lot of people moving down here from out west and up north... It's so pretty here... I hate the southern drawl, though... Like... I HATE IT.... Omg...

I somehow found myself living in Texas for 2 years and I never thought I'd be anywhere near the south and it was just kinda "WTF is this shit?" I'm probably walking around with that non-accent you're talking about. I'm about as northwest as you can get and not be Alaskan...Or Canadian. But if Donald Trump gets elected I'm hauling my ass across that border to B.C. I can practically walk there anyways...

Oh my, seems tough. Poland is known for being conservative and devoted to the Roman Catholic Church, so my family which consists of leftists, atheists, feminists and such (including gay/yaoi lovers like myself) is a bit unusual. I can't imagine how I'd deal with them if they were conservative.

yeah not sure what Nicki's problem is...she wasn't raised that way...not sure how much of it is her opinion and how much is her asshole husband's opinion. She tends to conform to whoever she's with. And now she's found Christianity and it is like a weird cultlike devotion...she reminds of the aunt in Pollyanna with the fire and brimstone Christianity. I mean that's not all there is too Christianity and its about the worst way to represent Christianity and pisses me off.

LOL! I have the non-accent, too. I can get a little southern when I start talking too fast, but for the most part I have trained myself relentlessly against it... The sound of it just makes me think of ignorance... And yes! I agree with about Donald Trump... I liked the idea at first, until I started listening to his policy and I was like, 'NOPE! Fuck a whole bunch of that!"

Its getting to the point where I avoid my sister cause it just leaves me uncomfortable. For the most part dad and I seem to agree with each other and we ignore mom cause you know...practice :P Or we state our opinions to make her mad cause its funny. But for the most part mom is pretty free of prejudices. She doesn't agree with gay marriage but she also thinks its wrong to judge...This part of the country is pretty relaxed but head south and it can get ugly.

OMG! No offense, her being your sister, but I hate women like that... Think for yourself, damn it... And I know... I was raised non-denominational Christian, but I'm no longer religious. I respect those that are, but Christianity is getting more and more hypocritical... I've never seen another religion that preaches so much about love yet practices so much hatred... I love that name drop, though! Polly-Anna was one of my favorites growing up... It always made me cry when she fell out of the tree, though... lol But it was such a fabulous movie!
