Yes. But it was kinda a long process in the novel. They can only have a girl because of the thing with Hugo's bloodline. And, Damian, Hugo's "son", is actually his twin brother's son.

Nope no more of that. The only one out of incest technically was Damien, the twin brother fell in love with his half sister that he didn’t know he was related to and miraculously had Damien, they called it fate. And the same to Hugo (Hue) and Lucia too, in both timelines, Lucia ate the herb to stop her period but that was how Hue’s family get their half sisters Bc they get the females from their descendent and a woman that is not part of their family and the males that are descendants and get together with the half siblings (half sisters) to get a male heir. But luck has it that those woman need to go through a special process to give birth to females which is what Lucia ate they have to eat that herb right after they start menstruated ating
