I got super confused. Had to reread everything to make sense of it.
Norton is good, then he is bad, then he is very very bad, and now he is good misunderstood.
I prefer him being misunderstood. But I really miss having a chronological sequence.
Cos the childhood memories that show up and change perspective plus every other event gave my attention lacking brain a stun.

you didn't get what i mean...i know what is going on and all...but the way the story is told is super awkward....very uncomfortable and weird....the flow is jsut strange...that is all...i know what is happening, but i get a headache from the way the story is being presented to me.....

i get what you mean. i bought the novel a while ago, and the pacing was pretty good. but in the manhwa they rushed several things, like valrose making tea, and most of the other childhood events.

Original timeline Nocton is bad.

Current Nocton timeline has the potential to be good, but he has done some bad things.

His fam was super shitty in both timelines. But in the current timeline extra shitty since they are threatening Valrose. His concern for Valrose is what has given him the potential to be good.

But since he have never told Valrose that part of why he kept his distance from her is to protect her she still assumes that he has followed a similar path as original timeline Nocton.
