they do get together in the end after a series of events and end up loving each other
but before you drop the story, ill have to say the plot is pretty worth reading for in my opinion : it doesnt really justify the ML for his past actions, but its more of a story where the ML realises his wrongs and they get together not because the patrizia truly forgives him for his wrongdoings, but more of a way that she looks past it and sees him as who he is after and surrenders to what she feels to the ML. in my opinion, it really does twists your heart of the ending but thats the realistic essence of the story which makes me like it a lot - unlike a lot of others where the ml is a 'perfect dream-man'. the focus of the story is really to show the ugliness of a person, and to tell that no one will ever be a perfect, polished and pretty vase.
in other words - i will describe this novel as 'embracing a broken vase, cracks and all, just in the premise that the vase is important to me and not the beauty of it'
so i would highly recommend that you continue following this story!
Okay ofc he trused rose MORE bc she has been there before our mc became the empress and he was BLINDED thats literally the point.. and he dont even love her at first, he prob wont believe in rose from now on since he learned the truth
no duh, i was basically saying that since yeah they each other longer than he has known the empress, but he should’ve also tried to know the empresses point of view before he actually made a solid decision.
i appreciate you taking time out of your day to tell me about the story and even persuading me to continue, but i don’t think my opinion will change. even though he changes i still dislike him and that will never change. its mostly about me holding a grudge. thanks, but i will not be continuing !
Wdym?? What was the solid decision he made? And dont you know what blinded mean?? Him believing in rose is the whole point, being dumb and just follow rose voice. Thats why our mc is there for the emperor
yes i know i was explaining what i meant. i was also speaking about the past of when the sister was the empress and when all of their family got executed. he just believed rose right of the bat instead of trying to at least find a small smidge of evidence. blinded or whatever he sucks and could’ve at least try to have a bit of humanity.
its because the empress was her sister and forsure she dont know anything, and why whould they even find evidence when killing the empress was the whole point? The emperor knew the plan, the plan is to make rose the queen, and thats why his blinded, It was literally mention earlier in the story
im pretty sure it was the mistress plan to kill and not the emperors. rose set it up and the emperor didn’t know she was lying about all the false charges to the empress. that is why he was very surprised when he found out sabotaged the dinner situation. he didn’t know how far she was willing to go until now. the actual reason is that he didn’t actually like the empress and so he just went along with it not knowing she was innocent. he thought he was killing two birds with one stone.
is it just me when I say that I don’t want her to be with the ml. she deserves better, WAY better. you guys may be like he was blinded and didn’t know how his mistress really was. that’s the issue. he believed and trusted the mistress over his own wife. she 100% needs a new man. i don’t care about character development i still don’t and never will like him. if they get romantically involved im kms and also dropping this story.
