Not gonna lie. Kan and yumi are the pair I still want. They were so in love and had a good relationship and were living their dream until it was all stolen and the demons entered.
I do believe that is what yumi was meaning when he gave him the album.
I think if they talked to each other, it would only bring back nightmares and tragic memories on both sides. There’s literally nothing to talk about anymore. If they talked about the memories, they’ll only hurt themselves. An apology is also not what both Kan or Yumi want because an apology doesn’t make any sins or scars disappear. They can’t go back to being friends either because the scars are far too deep. All they can do is pray for each other’s happiness and move on with their lives. Let the past stay in the past.
