Read up to chapter 80 and was feeling disappointed and dissatisfied with how the pace and how things were going. Planning to drop it which is disappointing bc this had a lot of potential.
Saw some spoilers and yeah, makes me sad. The emperor deserves someone who can and will love him but I can’t believe how oblivious?? and dense she is. I guess I sort of understand since she doesn’t see him in that romantic light but you’d think by 80/90 chapters there would be some sort of development.
I like long stories so picked this up but it ended up just being very slow paced and I see that’s what some people like but this is unbelievably slow imo. Someone mentioned it being realistic but yea, not my cup of tea sadly.
