I know this is weird but I want to know your favorite song (instrumental or singing) that's soothing or calm, kind of depressing but happy at the same time. Or a song that's upbeat and happy, but not too happy. I don't like dubstep or songs that you can obviously tell was made by a machine (like electronic, Vocaloid is okay). Because I love those kind of songs but keep listening to the same song over and over already. Thank you!

Fauré was a French Impressionist musician, along with Satie and Debussey. If you like that sort of music, you might find something else you like in that company. I Thot You Was a Toad

    Oh okay then. Thank you!

Sounds much better than "depressing" which is what my family calls it k_brooks13

But "blissful melancholia" isn't the same as depressing. The first is a cathartic emotional experience. The other is anti-cathartic, the nullification of all emotion except despair.

I didn't say it was my smart family...and it's also the family that thinks Reba mackintire is the greatest musician

Panic at the Disco is a very good artist for channeling your inner emotions. Songs like death of a bachelor, the is gospel and many other are just perfection. If you're into K-pop then miracle in December is an amazing song.
