Yeah except they didn't escape together or anything. She and the black haired dude ran away from the monster dude's killing spree after she discovered the room that he kept the victims' corpses, and black haired dude died trying to protect her. She fell off a cliff while being terrified and traumatized by the guy. When she woke up, she was all alone and had to live the rest of her life in the monstrous body she resented. Pretty tragic :(

Idk why but I think it’d go like this:
Edan guy loves the girl and he does in his hunt (by the boy or the priest idk) and the girl gets accused for it. She runs to safety and oh my straight into the boy’s house where he’d keep her imprisoned. Then there are two options:
1. It’s going beast and belle and the priest (aka Gaston) goes to her “rescue” and kills the beast and she gets either hung or imprisioned by him, later suicide.
2. He actually goes and the boy kills everyone except the girl
3. (Just thought about it) the boy turns the girl into one like him (vampire ) and they escape and kill the priest in the way.
Either way the priest dies cause he’s creepy and maybe abused her
