I will drop this as soon as any romance or harem starting to show in the story. I have already dropped a few novels after I noticed there are harem or romance in the story. It's a total turn off.
I don't really usually drop a novel or manhwa/manga when there's a romance unless the girls are unbearably annoying and you get the feels to just hung their heads at a guillotine I'll defs drop but if the girls actually have their own personalities as their own characters I'll continue 'til the end cuz u kno only i level up/solo leveling also has a romance and it's def a god tier
I did not drop solo leveling as it was such a great story. As the romance in it wasn't alot so it is still tolerable for me.
There really are manhwas/novels and mangas that are great either they have romance or not, besides it's not really required for action genres to not have romance no? It's there to put some spice in it so it won't be complete boring with all those kaching washa fight scenes (sorry for the onomatopoeia udjshxbshd idk how to describe a fight) so please don't judge too quickly just because there are girls or romance or anything you wouldn't read it already cuz u Kno u're a girl too, what are you reading these for? Ganun yon eh so please judge how the story will flow first before you drop something cuz u might drop a god tier story without knowing anything
If you didn't mind having romance in a story that's fine. Whatever that rocks your boat. But respect others who doesn't like it. Whether I drop a story or not, it's my choice. Pls don't push your ideas onto others just because you feel otherwise.

Thankfully the webtoon didn't follow with the light novel. Because from what I read so far the light novel was a total trash. He had a sex scene with a new member they saved from Vivian's dungeon and it is totally disgusting.
