I understand your point...even if it was a bit more than just being treated badly at work...it was more like tortured and systematically humiliated at work... I guess that he was just not strong enough to keep his sanity through it all and could only resort to violence against someone he knew would not retaliate ...which is cruel ... thing is Yumi did not know how to support him ...and only suffered...fortunately he finally left and found his happiness which allowed Kan to realize he had gone totally off tracks and so he was able to change for the better. I like that he decided not to meet yumi ...because he knew that asking for forgiveness would only be for his self satisfaction...

yes you're right, and I liked that part too, that kan decided not to meet Yumi and not to remove that picture all that time.

I just hoped that Ogeretsu sensei to give a good reason behind Ken attitude towards yumi (being treated bad at work, and his family pressure wasn't enough reason to put it all in yumi and to hurt him badly).
i don't like violence in relation ship, i hate it...
but still i love it and treasure it <3
