Because Japan is already taking legal actions about that. Soon enough, illegal distributions of Japanese mangas will stop as well. Japan is strict when it comes to laws. You can search for articles about it because there's a lot.

That has nothing tho do with Japan. A lot of those are translated by groups, or copied from legal English sites. Japanese laws won’t change that.
They can't stop this as a whole but they will lessen the amount of illegal sites. Who will get tired making another illegal websites? The illegal distributors. A lot of sites are being taken down already, and the new ones that pop-up is not limited to this.
Yes it does? Coz where do you think One Piece, One Punch, Attack on Titan, My Hero, Naruto, etc. came from? Japan. And Japanese laws CAN change that because who allowed legal English sites? Who allowed the licensing of the translations? JAPAN.
I’m 28 all the sites that I’ve been using since middle school are still up and running. Lol This is the only one that always in danger of being shut down. And it’s always because of the bl section Lmaoo it’s just so crazy to me.
It’a so weird how no one ever bitches in the Shounen section. One Piece, One Punch, Attack on Titan, My Hero, Naruto, etc. they get uploaded on all these different sites with no problem but in the BL section there’s always an issue.
