Its set in “fictional” china, unless there was some translation error they specify that in ch.1(the empress mentions she doesn't remember learning of the specific dynasty during Chinese history class) I think the names are korean because the author is korean and didn't put much thought into it.
Ahh thanks! I remember reading something like that but wasn’t sure. The clothes look like hanfu mixed with korean elements so I finally had to ask lol
I’m still kind of confused about this series, is it supposed to be set in ancient China? Even though the names are Korean?
