IMO for stories like these, you have to possess a strong fourth wall, you have to clearly recognize the characters' behaviors are many kinds of fucked up, you don't condone nor justify their behavior, and it is clear to you that they're fictional 2D characters in a fictional world.
That said, I see no problem if you enjoy stories like these like I did. Because it's different, interesting, unpredictable & very unorthodox unlike our usual moral-driven stories.
Again tho, 4th wall. Don't go looking or settling for somewhat similar relationships like these in real life. If someone is clearly stalking you, run for the hills and ask for help. And don't eat food you found on your doorstep. It might be your neighbor's ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
