You think you are “respecting” the author (by doing what? Hm) but the author themselves has clearly said that’s not what they want/need. It’s okay if you are not financially able to support the author, but please understand your position and just stay quiet. Jealous? Anyone can read on this website if they have access to the internet.

I’m sorry if my reply comes out rude but as a person who can’t afford chapters aswell i feel like if love is an illusion does get taken down from here we can’t really get upset because authors work hard to publish stuff like this it’s basically what they do for a living (may be false i don’t know myself) if the author wants love is an illusion to be taken down from here then it’s gonna get taken down, our only option is to use legal websites that wants us to use coins to buy chapters.
If you're broke and poor, how tf do you even have a wifi, a phone/pc to read love is an illusion here？ imagine if YOU were the artist, what would you do if you spend all your time sitting on a chair and draw for hours just to see the manga you drew getting a few views because most people decided to read it in an illegal site. At least try to support the author by paying at least a chapter or two and if you can afford buying all chapters, then buy all. Some of them (legal manga sites) even gave free tokens/coins/tickets for you to read chapters for free I'm just here because i spent all my lezhin tokens and wasted my monthly allowance for it.
Yep sometimes when like I can't get free coins I sometimes read it here but most of the time I read it in lezhin
