Why is it so hard to realise that non-con is a simply kink for some people? I understand the need for story development and it does seem like the author likes gratuitous sex scenes, but this is not much different from any other kink. Men be fucking in yaoi for literally no reason all the time anyway. Enjoying a kink in fiction is not much different from enjoying it in your fantasies while fapping or doing non-con roleplay with your partner.

Hi I don’t have this kink but I don’t think it’s right to shame it as long as it’s just fiction or two consenting adults are doing a play

Yeah but the reason why people don’t like this because it’s not OK to justify it. It is just fiction but at the end of the day people are trying to justify in real life. If you’re not pretending for it to be a certain way and it’s actually rape there’s no way that that should be justified. If your kink involves raping People something that is literally illegal it should not be allowed. Because there’s a difference between role-playing and actually raping people. Because you can easily justify role-playing but you cannot justify raping people

I’m confused how depiction equals justification but okay. Your reply has nothing to do with what I’m saying.
There’s many people that have rape fantasies but obviously do not want to be raped in real life. Are you telling me that people into BDSM or humiliation want to actually get kidnapped and kept in a basement irl? They simply want to enjoy those fantasies in a controlled environment whether it’s with their partner or in fiction.

People need to understand that the yaoi genre is made by women FOR women and has little to do with real life LGBT+ relationships. The very fact that it involves men allowed women to use it to explore themes and fetishes they would usually feel unsafe to do, as they could emotionally remove themselves somewhat.

If you feel uncomfortable with non-con in fiction that’s more than okay, just go read a story that has different kinks.

No literally that’s not what I mean. There were other people who were trying to justify it. Like they were saying let’s not king shame but in reality if you’re into that kind of thing and you’re not role-playing or it’s not fiction then it’s bad. That’s literally all I was trying to say. I meant nothing else. I just thought it was bad that people were trying to justify it in real life as well and they didn’t specify whether or not it was like role-playing

Nah. I will kink shame idgaf if the people concerned are offended, kinks are not some holy thing that shouldn’t be criticized
