I 100% agree with u. That would be the best kind of ending bcz there's rarely any story that have that kind of twist to it.

It really does. Heil has done so much for him and has been nothing but sweet so far. It'd be such a waste if they go the other route! Plus, they're actually happy together! You don't see things like that often until it's halfway through a comic (I mean this could be halfway done but doesn't really feel like it). Heil has just been a sweetheart and River deserves someone like that.
Yes that's my point too. Heil fell in luv with river when he was a human n didn't think of himself as superior to River but rather view River as an equal. He always protected River n he searched n waited so long for River.

Imma be that person that says forgive him, but don't go back to him. Mostly just so the MC doesn't die AGAIN. But dammit, Heil is 100x better. I'm going to be super pissed if the creator decides to do that bs of making the MC go with the "original" partner. Unless Heil turns it to be a gigantic, manipulative dickwad, I want to see the story take that unique turn of starting with the unintended lover. That would be so nice for a change.
